Albert Wharf - Hammersmith

Ptarmigan Land

Air Quality Consultants was commissioned by Ptarmigan Land to provide air quality advice related to the redevelopment of Albert Wharf, near Wandsworth Bridge.  The mixed residential scheme was granted planning approval in 2015 for 233 dwellings and associated amenity facilities, retail/café/restaurant floorspace, ancillary offices, and a site-wide energy centre.  A specific consideration was the enclosure of a concrete batching plant within a sealed enclosure, thus retaining the safeguarded wharf status of the site.  A detailed air quality assessment was carried out to determine the ventilation requirements from the sealed enclosure; wind tunnel studies were also commissioned and analysed to determine the impacts of emissions from the energy centre flues within a complex urban environment.

Very pleased with the communication aspect of my dealings with AQC.
