Andy is an Associate Director at AQC with more than 17 years’ experience across both public and private sectors, specialising in industrial emissions and environmental permitting.
Andy joined the company in 2023 and has extensive experience working with operators, regulators & investors, helping clients understand the requirements of current and future environmental regulations affecting their business and operations. Andy has prepared, and project managed, multiple applications for new environmental permits and existing permit variations, including standard and bespoke applications for a wide range of regulated installations and operations subject to the Industrial Emissions Directive (IED), as well as Waste Operations, Medium Combustion Plant & Specified Generators processes. Andy has managed numerous continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMs) projects for blue-chip companies, helping clients with their procurement, installation, and auditing of CEMs, as well as being involved with developing CEMs quality assurance guidance for environmental regulators in the Middle East. During his time working for the UK Competent Authorities, Andy sat on the MCERTS personnel examination board for Level 2 Interviews, as well as delivering national compliance and permitting training.
