Austin Cogan joined Air Quality Consultants Ltd last summer, having just completed his PhD at the University of Leicester. His project involved estimating carbon dioxide concentrations globally using information from satellite observations. He developed software to validate and correct the data and examined the results in relation to models. His thesis was examined in October and this proved successful. His graduation was in January.
Austin is working with Air Quality Consultants Ltd as an Assistant Consultant. He has already completed air quality assessments for a range of development schemes, gaining experience of using ADMS models for road and CHP/boiler assessments.
He is maintaining the high level of expertise in the company; there are 4 consultants with PhDs and 6 with Masters.
