The organisation ‘Clean Air in London’, led by Simon Birkett, has launched Clean Air in London Awards to recognise the contributions of individuals to improving air quality.
One of the 24 awards for 2013 has gone to Steve Moorcroft, both as a Director of Air Quality Consultants Ltd and Chair of the Air Quality Committee of Environmental Protection UK. Bianca Jagger, founder and chair of The Bianca Jagger Human Rights Foundation, receives a special mention, with other awards going to politicians from across the political spectrum, and to campaigners, scientists and business leaders.
