The proposed scheme comprised a residential-led mixed use development of up to 850 units, light industrial space, mixed commercial space and a medical facility with associated landscape and public realm areas.
The drainage strategy maximised the potential for SuDS, utilising blue roofs alongside geocellular storage features, pervious surfacing, rain gardens and filter drains.
The River Rom watercourse passes around the eastern boundary of the site within an engineered concrete channel.
A more naturalised profile and enhanced river environment was proposed as far as practicable within the existing urbanised environment. This improved connectivity to the watercourse from the surrounding area and provided amenity and biodiversity benefits to the proposed development.

Given the complex nature of the project the team are very impressed with the quality of the service that we have received.
