AQC announces the appointment of Tim Williamson as an Associate Director in the London office. Tim has 25 years’ experience in environmental policy development, focussing on air quality, having operated at the local, national and international scales.
Air Quality Consultants Ltd announces the appointment of Tim Williamson as an Associate Director in the London office.
From 2016 to 2019, as a consultant at Aether, Tim delivered projects drawing on his air quality, climate change, policy analysis and project management skills. These include an analysis of UK air quality policy options post-Brexit, an emissions inventory for the Port of London and a review of EU funding and policy alignment for the Urban Partnership. Tim was also involved in several carbon accounting projects, leading work to support Welsh Government in setting up an approach to carbon reporting for public sector bodies and assisting several local authorities in understanding their carbon footprint and policy forecasts in response to Climate Emergency declarations
From 2005 to 2016, he led multidisciplinary evidence teams at Defra, covering first air quality and latterly waste and resource efficiency. Tim has extensive experience of environmental policy development in the UK and Europe, developing the evidence base to support negotiations on the Clean Air for Europe Directive, revised NECD and Circular Economy package.
