Meg is an assistant consultant with AQC and joined the company in 2023.
During her MSc degree in Sustainability Science and Practice at Stanford University, she joined Stanford Future Bay Initiative, completing project work related to extreme heat forecasting. She went on to complete a summer internship focussed on developing the foundations for an open-source methodology for urban air quality modelling in collaboration with community partners in the Bay Area. Her master’s practicum project with the NGO Groundwater Collaborative analysed data relevant to sustainable groundwater management in California.

Planning Potential
Technical input for the outline planning application for the Intergenerational Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), including up to 1,300 homes and purpose-built care, health, wellbeing and lifestyle facilities adaptable to meet peoples’ changing needs.
Air Quality Consultants was able to demonstrate that the existing configuration of the plant was acceptable, with no new chimney stack required, saving the client more than £100,000 in up-front costs, as well as avoiding potential local opposition.
