David Tyrer, a Public Policy and Environmental Economist, has joined the Logika Group of companies as Technical Director of its new Environmental Policy & Economics team. Logika Group is made up of Air Quality Consultants, Noise Consultants Limited and Logika Consultants Limited collectively.
David has over 15 years’ experience managing and leading environmental policy projects for UK and European Governments, the European Commission (and agencies) and the United Nations Environmental Programme. He also has extensive industry experience in the UK, Europe and North America.
David specialises in advising on the economic effects of environmental policy, socio-economic analysis (SEA), cost benefit analysis, economic and regulatory impact assessment, policy evaluation as well as environmental and human health impact valuation.
He has particular expertise in chemicals policy (REACH, BPR, the Stockholm Convention on POPs, for example), air quality, industrial emissions, waste, circular economy and transport. David has also advised on the economic, social and environmental impact of - and rationale for - major infrastructure and other development throughout his career.
