In 2020, Air Quality Consultants (part of Logika Group) explained the need to, and provided a method for, including ammonia emissions when assessing the local effects of road traffic emissions on biodiversity. This included publishing Version 1 of the Calculator for Road Emissions of AMmonia’ (CREAM) model. Since then, CREAM V1 has seen widespread use across the industry.
Since 2020, additional information has become available. CREAM has therefore been updated. CREAM V2 was published on 07/02/25. The model, and a report explaining the information which underpins it, are both available to download here.
CREAM V2 is made freely available for any organisation to use, so long as Air Quality Consultants Ltd and Logika Group are acknowledged as its source.
