Prof. Duncan Laxen and Penny Wilson have provided an air quality expert briefing for inclusion in the third edition of the EIA Handbook which has recently been published by the Institute of Civil Engineers. The air quality section sets out key considerations when completing an EIA of the likely significant air quality effects including, scoping, methodology and evaluating significance. Importantly it also provides specific advice on influencing design, mitigation and monitoring, along with case studies and sources of further information.
Copies of the handbook are available to purchase from the ICE bookshop.
